there are some gaming consoles which are superior than others and have
stood the test of time. The following is a list of the best gaming consoles
ever created.
Sony PlayStation 4
Currently, the PS4 is arguably the best gaming console in the market
according to most gaming enthusiasts. All the gaming consoles under the
PlayStation line have gone on best sellers to be game changers in the
way people relate to their games. The PlayStation is no exception and
brings along a host of other new features. The PS4 is more powerful than
any other console, boasts a great online network, one of the best game-
play experiences, and supports a broad range of multimedia among other
attributes. Users can also opt to subscribe to the PlayStation Network to
get access to additional storage, monthly free games, and other
benefits.
Nintendo Wii U
This is the closest competitor to the PlayStation 4 console is from the
Nintendo line as its name suggests. The Nintendo Wii U is best suited for
network gaming and comes with dedicated games for this type of
gaming. It has a controller which has 6.2 LCD screen which also as a
second screen. The main advantage with this setup is you can use the
game pad only while someone else watches the TV. The Nintendo Wii U
also comes with some pre-installed applications like YouTube and Netflix
increasing the range of entertainment options.
Microsoft Xbox One S
The Microsoft Xbox One S was released in August 2016 and has been
highly approved by gaming enthusiasts. Unlike the previous makes of the
Xbox, the controller in the Xbox One S now supports Bluetooth and also
incorporates a 3.5mm headphone port. In addition to this, the console
also supports 4K videos streaming and 4K Blu-rays. This console also
makes multi-tasking easier with the Snap feature; it is possible to play
games while running an application on the side. While it's a fitting
successor to the previous model, there is the "Microsoft's Project Scorpio"
console which is set to be released later in the year.
Sony PlayStation Vita
The line of the PlayStation Vita is the most powerful, best-selling and
most advanced hand held console and has undergone significant changes
since its inception. For users interested in playing their games on the go,
the PlayStation Vita is a great option. The latest version of the
PlayStation Vita Street has a 4.3 OLED screen, a headphone jack, a
rechargeable and non-removable battery which can last for up to 10
hours. If you have an existing PlayStation Network with another device,
you can use it with the Vista to get added benefits.
Nintendo 3DS XL
This is another handheld device from Nintendo and is the cheapest
device on this list. This Nintendo, like the previous ones, comes with
popular games such Mario and Pokemon. It also has its in-built store
where users can purchase more games. The Nintendo 3DS XL also
presents a much welcomed improvement in its 3D functionality. The
screen has been improved and now includes a face scanning feature
which detects face movements and adjusts easily. The successor to this
device will be the Switch which is launching in March 2017.
